Taikyu was not born in a boardroom, but on the open road.

The story begins with our Co-Founder, Maksym Fomin. As a veteran fleet owner with decades of hands-on experience in the logistics industry, Maksym understood a truth that many manufacturers overlook: A tire is the single most important variable in a fleet’s operational success.
The Search for the Perfect Balance
Throughout his career, Maksym tested every tire on the market. He ran the "top-of-the-line" premium brands that carried heavy price tags, and he trialed the budget imports that promised savings but often failed under the pressure of long-haul demands.

He found a persistent, industry-wide gap. The premium tires were often prohibitively expensive for growing fleets, while the budget options frequently led to increased downtime, poor fuel efficiency, and compromised safety.
The Birth of Taikyu
Frustrated by the "either-or" choice between high costs and low quality, Maksym decided to leverage his decades of technical knowledge to create a third way. He founded Taikyu with a singular mission: To engineer tires that provide uncompromising, tier-one performance at a price point that respects the bottom line.​
